The River View Room and the Meadow View Suite have direct access to their own sections of the balcony overlooking the river and rural landscape and may be accessed privately from the gardens – ideal for contactless entry.
Let us welcome you with a complimentary fruit bowl. From our blackboard wine list consider a glass to take to your elevated river-view room. We are developing our own riverside cuisine, so keep watch for our unique guest refreshment options.
Lulled by the peaceful flow of the Waitangi River, you might just STOP and drift away when you fall gently into our generous orthopaedic quality beds. For ultimate comfort our pillows are soft duck-down and feather, and duvets are purely natural wool and cotton.
Your private world has a modern ensuite bathroom with robes, fluffy towels, hair-dryer and boutique toiletries. For your DVD/CD system we have free movies and music, and rooms have Freeview, Chromecast and access to your Netflix account, and on-demand viewing. In addition you can Bluetooth from your phone or device to the JVC sound system. Wi-fi is free in your room and in our lounges (subject to local broadband capacities).
Massage may be reserved in advance, there’s a nearby luxurious day spa, and our own filtered natural rainwater is free in your fridge. We take your wellbeing seriously and your in-room Nespresso includes de-caff and organic coffee in recyclable or compostable pods.
Each room is sanitised between guest stays. Contactless check-in and departure are possible by request.
Pastoral and river views from the River View Room
The best views of the river are from the floor-to-ceiling French Doors and window of this sunny, comfortable room. A little smaller than the neighbouring Meadow View Suite, this charming super-king/twin room also has a leather-top writing desk, a full entertainment system, and direct access to the spacious guest lounge from its covered balcony.
