Riverside Homestead Waitangi

Haere mai – welcome to your new Bay of Islands summer sanctuary

The Riverside Homestead Waitangi

The view from your private balcony

Blackadder and TimTam are part of the hospitality team!
Our Orchard Road summer splash

Just two safe and light-filled private suites with balconies overlooking our lawns running down to the historic, meandering Waitangi River

All the hospitality and professional attention that brought thousands of guests and industry accolades to Orongo Bay Homestead over a quarter of a century now infuses this riverside lodge with warmth and welcome.

Blackadder and TimTam (our alpacas), free-ranging hens, two adorable pussycats, gourmet cuisine and our olive grove all await your discovery and delight. Birdsong, peace and privacy invite you to the perfect sustainable sanctuary for all seasons. Your safety is our first concern.
